Are you ready to get started on your 2019 Fitness and Nutrition goals? Here are a few tips we've found useful when it comes to goal setting.

Be Realistic

It's easy to get overzealous about our fitness ambitions. This can often lead to setting unrealistic goals that end up becoming a burden. Set goals that you know you can achieve but will still push beyond your current level.

Set a Deadline

Setting a deadline helps keep you focused. If you don't set a deadline for achieving your goals, you won't have the opportunity to progress to your next goals. Deadlines are one of the laws that govern goal setting. 

Write it Down

Writing down your goals helps your brain subconsciously remember them. It also means your goals are no longer just in your head. They are out in the open, written proof to help hold you accountable.

Start Today and Recommit Every Day After

Don't procrastinate getting started. Contributing to your goals in small ways regularly is much better than not starting at all or even doing the big things inconsistently. There are going to be setbacks. When they happen don't let them stop you moving forward. Make the decision to start again and recommit every day if needed.
