Bloated is a term used to describe an abdominal state often caused by retention of fluid or gas.

How does fibre help reduce bloating?

Gas occurs in the stomach because of bacteria in the colon. Fibre comes from plants and is not easily digested. It absorbs water as it moves through the digestion system which aids in helping reduce bacteria which in turn reduces the build-up of gas and therefore bloating. So Yes, fiber can help reduce bloating.
